He had a decent sized collection and I have bought/sold some of the same coins in the past, in addition I checked out fleabay and heritage to find extremely recent sale prices for the exact coins, which are represented by the average to the right of the description. I had calculated a realistic market value of 1962$ for all the coins and offered him 1450$ after previously letting him know I was buying mostly for retail resale and explaining that I thought the offer (profit margin for me) was pretty fair and extremely competitive with what I know local shops pay. He seemed to be disgusted with the offer and I haven&#039;t heard back, furthermore my post was instantly flagged down after appraising his coins and making an offer.
