Dictator1, May I ask how you are going to present this collection i.e. book. hangable frame, display case? I think this is a real cool idea for a collection theme and if you could have something like a world map surrounded by these notes. My uncle is a philatelist and he has a few covers sent from battle ships with illustrations around some of the notable historic moments is the ships life.

I just got some Mobuto banknotes from Zaire today. Some were worn out tho.

Does anyone know how to get that Dominican Republic 20 pesos 1956 or 1958 version with Trujillo face ? It's impossible to find, it appears once in a blue moon somewhere, i also closely watch numismatic auctions and even much more rare and expensive banknotes more frequently appear like Panamas 7 days banknotes of 1941 while this one is like almost a ghost.

    Thanks

If you are referring to this P-70 20 Pesos then your guess is as good as mine. If you scroll down on the Numista link you'll note that it has a Rarity Index (RI) of 100 which means that no collector registered on Numista has it.

I think I have seen it once on Reddit (b/c there's collectors who like that type of thing there) but I have never seen it auctioned.

Just keep your eyes peeled on all the big auction houses (HA, Spinks, Stacks & try some of the European/Asian auctions as well). Good luck!

Without getting too "political" about it I've always said the best argument for removing Jackson from the $20 bill is that he probably wouldn't want his portrait to be there anyway, considering his views on paper money.

I myself am starting to work on a collection of banknotes depicting elephants. No value judgments on how good or bad those elephants were lol.
