Ok, here is the dumbest question so far. Has anyone seen a graded coin or coins by them? If so how did they do in the grading aspect? Not that it matters really, the slabs are cool...
I'm not as good at grading as many here are, but after visiting their visual pop report, I find them fairly tight and on par with PCGS. Maybe we could start some guess the grade threads with DGS coins from their report...for the mods, would this violate copyright laws?
I just sent them a few coins today (15), I will be sending out similar coins in August to PCGS. When I have the results I will try and share with everyone who is interested. I only sent Indian cents I rated from EX45 to 64 RB and Lincolns from VG to 65/66. Also sent them one of three 60D/D small/ large, which I will be sending not only to PCGS but also ICG.
I just got my sample slab from DGS yesterday after seeing this thread. It's pretty nice looking. I'm sure I'll be on a mailing list or 2 for life now, but oh well, it's better than a lot of lists I could be on.
Just got mine yesterday too , to bad they didn't grade the quarter , then we at least would have an idea how they grade , or maybe that was their intention .:kewl::whistle: rzage:smile:hatch::hammer:
When I sent my email, I didn't get a response either. But, the slab showed up in the mail in about a week, FYI.
Treashunt , I'd give it a couple more days , heck it might even be there now . rzage:smile:hatch::hammer:
I did...but like others said, there was no response from their side. May be they are overwhelmed by the magnitude of sample queries.
I didn't get a responce either , then the slab came , wish they would of put a grade on the quarter . rzage
I strongly agree but I guess something is better than nothing . Moreover I won't know whether I will even get the slab until I see it in my mailbox which will take probably a month.:headbang:
