Sorry, I don't know. I watched one episode of Diggers and that was enough. Detectorists is a totally different kind of show. It's not a reality series like Diggers--it's a comedy series about two quirky, but lovable, guys who get into a whole series of misadventures as a result of their metal detecting hobby. Their ongoing feud with a rival club is hilarious.
