I think that if we do decide to make another thread, we need to pull all of the designs so people can see them easily...I keep having to go back and look which ones are getting the votes lol. Oh, and I don't know if everyone necessarily wants to vote...I think that almost everyone involved in the contest has voted already anyway. Just my opinion.
I agree, It's too hard to really compare them - even if you just picked the top ten banners to vote on I think you would have many-many more votes. There are some nice ones regardless of the votes - great job guys!
Yay, at least I got one vote (post 88) Maybe I should have spelled the site address right, lol it can always be changed anyhow, lol.
I have a list of my favs, i cannot vote tho, it would not be fair. YOu folks get your biz done, then let me know who to send the VDB to. I am fair and flexible.
I dont wana seem biased so I'm gona be impartial, what ever anyone wants to do is ok with me (or we could get out the metal shears and split up the prize ) You all made great banners and it was a very fun contest, Thanks for holding it Jack
Ok, I took the time to put them all on one page. Click HERE I say the voting ends at 8PM Sunday Jan. 4th EST. There how is that. : ) Now Jack has to keep track of the votes. Hope this helps.. Jim M (The website page will self destruct on Jan 5th. : )
Thanks guys, just trying to help. This is a big thing for AJ. Something that I have been looking at with most of these and I could be wrong, the object you were trying to convey was to drive traffic to his website, not tell his story or to sell coins. Thats what the website is for. Some of these need to be looked at a little differently from that standpoint. Take out all of the Text except the pointer to the site. This is AJ's branding tool, his identity. When I see this winning banner I want to know who it belongs to without having to read anything on the banner. Here is a good example, The nike swoosh, the Pepsi red, white and blue circle or even the Red dot for 7UP. Take a GOOD look at the entries gang. There are some winners in the mix. (aside from the one we vote as the best) Good Luck AJ... And an early congrats to the winner, you guys/gals all did a great job. The votes so far as I can tell are at the top of the page now.
I would vote that Jack gets to pick his banner no matter what one is picked in the poll. Each one of us have different ideas on what would look good, and Jack may have something totally different in his mind. That being said--I think we have seen some great work on this contest. I like a few different ones...so will withhold from voting. Speedy
Correct--and I would also point out that in branding yourself with such a logo you may want it to reflect a thought/idea/trait/etc. Speedy
I like this idea and second your vote. After all the banner/logo is going on his site and is going to be used for his company.
I tried to make a nike/pepsi kinda logo but i dont think it worked out well in the end, but I tried part of it with one of the later banners I posted. heres my failed attempts though lol
