Every coin that has been posted in this thread shows nothing but damage. I hope you are not buying stuff like this thinking they are error coins.

The spots near the bottom of the torch and the dark area by the leafs are very shiny like silver when viewed in a good light source at an angle. All of the ''dark areas'' shine like silver when the light hits it right everything else shines like brilliant copper when you twist it around in the light dispite what the scans look like. So if the spots were somthing growing why would they shine like silver when you look at them in different angles of light along with all the other dark spots?
    One more tim...e
All dark area's on this coin are silver in color when you LOOK at them with your own eyeballs in a good light source and they are very shiny even tho on the scan they look dark or black. So those little specks are really specks of a white metal

Same with the copper it looks dull on the scan but when the light hits it right all of the devices jump out and are very shiny even the field of the coin is shiny even tho it looks dull on the scan

Even the greyish area is not really grey or whitish or dull except for on the scan to the eye they seem to be a shiny white metal.

Here is a picture of this dime takin in macro with a good camera that i dont have the usb cord for so i scanned the LCD. It shows how the letters/devices shine when the light hits it but it doesnt show the color right because its a scan of a lcd screen as you can see.

Taking that book too seriously will likely to kill your spirit too. Now, I think I'll steer clear of this one, fellas.
