@1916D10C I would highly recommend delating any political comments. @wcoins appears to have made an honest mistake, and editing his post was the smart thing to do

Apparently, you feel your response was so cleaver and witty, that it should be there for all others to see.

I didn't see wcoins post, so I don't know which side of the political spectrum it fell. For all I know, I may have even thought your reply was funny. However, I would have respect for other members on CT that have differing political opinions and not make those types of comments on a numismatic forum

While CT can feel like you're hanging out with your friends at a bar or Starbucks, and it's easy to get comfortable, don't forget that nearly all of the contacts are anonymous. Outside of what members share, I know vey little about most people here, and have probably walked right past a few of them at coin shows without knowing it. Don't assume that they share your opinions on other topics

 

Since the poster in question was "last seen" right at the time of that last post, I'm assuming he hasn't had an opportunity to realize his mistake and edit. Hopefully the mods will keep that in mind.

 

FYI. He had time to post a snappy comeback after wcoins suggested the posts weren't appropriate for CT
