I have looked at the coins and across a great many series, I don't see any difference at all in the way these two companies grade coins. Morgan Dollars are graded almost exactly the same with the exception that PCGS is tougher on the MS67 & MS68 grades. Some of the strike designations are different, but those standards are published IIRC. You allude to the fact that there are major differences between the grading standards employed by NGC & PCGS.
