Defective clad layer obverse and reverse? Is this rare?

    Nickel's don't have a clad layer. The coin is just damaged .

    It's damaged after it left the US Mint.. Not a mint error of any kind.

    welcome to CT TDreams28. yea your nickel has been around the block many times... and as ldhair said, nickels don't have a clad layer. good luck
