Would mechanical Doubling repeat that much?

    It could. They need to tighten the collar. Remember, it's just rattling around in there. And these things are struck like machine gun fire, very very rapidly. Hence the name "machine gun doubling." Well, no... :)

    Yes it’s MD bit the minting process could produce hundreds if not thousands of them before the problem is corrected.
