In between updates to the main box of 20, I've decided to present the almost made it line up. These are all among my favorites but they just missed out being in the main box. When a spot opens, any of these will have a chance to be promoted (in fact, that just happened with the Whipple Dollar that used to hold a spot here). There aren't many rules for what is included although I have excluded coins that make up some of my sets (like the ex-Soviet nations set). The order these are presented follows the box of 20 thread: US, then tokens, and finally world. Within each subset, it is denomination order then date order. A big shoutout to @CircCam for the awesome toned Washington Quarter (that is the only one here that came from a fellow CoinTalk member). As mentioned, coins from here can be promoted to the main box. The next time that thread is updated, this Whipple Dollar will be seen there.
My favorite is the British Trade Dollar. I used to have one when I was collecting KGVI coins of GB&BC. Long gone now.
