[QUOTE="ddddd, post: 11885209, member: 22377"]Luckily I was not the one who got the QC on the Isabella. I bought it in that slab, cracked it, and got the straight grade. So this was a nice win. I have been stubborn on a few coins. My worst case was subbing a toned Franklin 4 times because it kept getting different results: AU 55 (too low) -> MS 62 (still thought it was low) -> Unc Details damaged (that was even worse) -> MS 62 (here I gave up since it was back in a straight graded holder). I also had a toned Morgan that went details two times (two different reasons) that I did sell. If someone manages to get that one into a straight graded holder, they will do really well. So yes there are some wins and some losses (and yes the losses sting a little more but we should remind ourselves of the wins more often).

The Peacock has multiple varieties and at one point I wanted to collect them all. The issue is some rarely show up for sale and when they do, they can be very expensive. I saw CRO post a potentially unique silver version.
