While the Tiberius has imperfect centering, it greatly favors the important parts of the legend and has excellent eye appeal. The important part to me is the bold TR POT XXXIIX since there are so few coins that show the double subtractive 38. I so very much wish my similar coin had that date but I have the boring XXXVII poorly centered so, even if it were a 38, it would not have the appeal of your coin. My daughter and wife both know that I would be impossible to buy for, especially when it comes to coins. You obviously did a fine job enabling your daughter to select good coins.

I did get a numismatic accessory Christmas present from my daughter this year. Both this year and last, my copy of the Triton auction catalog was bent up when the carrier shoved it into my standard mail box along with the usual ads and bills. This year I was given an nice oversize mailbox that will accept an undistorted auction catalog and most books so I won't have to deal with them being thrown on the driveway behind the car (I ran over a book from Amazon about five years ago when I backed out of the garage). On at least 363 days a year, my junk mail would fit the old box but now I am ready to receive large parcels in mint state. I assume this means that CNG will drop me from the list before Triton XXIII is printed but I can always order used books from Amazon in the 1 cent plus $3.99 shipping category to make it all seem worthwhile.

Oh, yes, the Domitian is nice, too, but I really like that Tiberius.
