Anyone buy into these? Price is cheaper than the gold version from the mint, and they didn't sell out in 20 minutes. I like them - they look much better in real life than in the photos...
I sure did!! I got the satin finish though. Daniel did an amazing job with these. I'd much rather have that Mercury Dime than the Mint's pathetic attempt at their own creation.
Here is the link to the ones I bought. http://www.dc-coin.com/2008hardtimestoken536minted-2-3-1-1-2-4-2-1-2-2.aspx They were $80.00 for the set of 3.
My 2 sets. The antiqued winged liberty I messed up myself that's why it's a 68. But I'm real happy with the 70.
Congrats on the 70! I've seen a ton of Dan's stuff in ANACS holders and it seems they all come back 69. Just sent a couple of these to ANACS at the Las Vegas Numismatic Society show last weekend, so now I'm crossing my fingers.
The new overstrikes he did are 80 each, these are on page 2 of his listing but both versions have been unavailable for a little while. I am guess he sold out what he had made already and needs to make more before taking more orders.

I was just looking at his site. I really wish I knew about his barber halves when they came out. That would've been the closest I could have come to owning an unc one
Thanks As of this morning it's the only Walker graded 70 http://www.anacs.com/Populations/CertVerification.aspx
Great Collections and eBay have some pop up from time to time. There was a proof version too which I missed out on unfortunately.
