<p>
here is an 1800/79 overdate large cent that i attributed today, i often times do this with coins that are being offered for sale online. this coin is variety S-196 which is an R-1 very common variety.even if this coin would have turned out to be a rare variety, i would not be able to buy the coin because it is way out of my price range, which is almost always the case. for a while now i have been using these websites for reference. <a href="http://www.largecents.net/collection/photoindex.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.largecents.net/collection/photoindex.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.largecents.net/collection/photoindex.html</a></p><p><a href="http://www.goldbergcoins.com/" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.goldbergcoins.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.goldbergcoins.com/</a></p><p><a href="http://www.coinfacts.com/large_cents/liberty_cap_large_cents/1794_large_cents/1794_large_cent_varieties.htm" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.coinfacts.com/large_cents/liberty_cap_large_cents/1794_large_cents/1794_large_cent_varieties.htm" rel="nofollow">http://www.coinfacts.com/large_cents/liberty_cap_large_cents/1794_large_cents/1794_large_cent_varieties.htm</a></p><p>and there are other websites that i use as well. goldberg auctions archives catalogs are a great source for large cents reference.
</p><p><br /></p>
