As a dealer in Mpc for many years now i have relied on the green sheet
In part to provide accurate pricing for Mpc,s as it is the only monthly
Publication that covers them completely, the question i have is the big
Swing in grades here is there scale

    VG-8
    FINE-12
    VF-20
    XF-40
    A/U-50

They have got the C/U grades up to 67 so those are covered fairly
Well, but i have several notes that fall through the cracks such as
VF-25 - VF-35 there,s a big difference in price there you also have
A gap in the A/U grades 53 through 58 it would be nice if they would
Use the s numbers as TPG,s! it would for sure make things allot easier!

I recieved my copy of Paper Money of the United States (19th edition),and they only offer EF40 and CH63 for small-size FRN's. Some of the other notes they offer VG8,F12,VF20,EF40,CU60,CH63, and GEM65.

    mpc,

Here's what I do in those cases (for coins) where there is a large gap in pricing by grade. I interpolate between the price for the next lowest grade and the next highest grade. For example, if the coin in XF-40 is $50 and in AU-50 is $100 I can interpolate between the two and arrive at a price of $75 for a coin in XF-45. That is a straight-line interpolation.

If the price curve is not straight (i.e., the price increases exponentially at the higher grades) I will sometimes graph out the pricing vs. grade and pull the price off that curve.

That,s a great approach hobo, i have tried a similar idea as it may work for you and i, if others
Dont see the number match the price they always get a little suspicious!
