I found 14 and 16 Buffalo Nickels in back-to-back boxes from one bank, all with full dates. By far my best find in terms of quantity. I've found nearly 100 war nickels, too, one time found 5 in one box, 4 in a couple... I pulled 8 out of a $200 bag I bought off a bank last week. Single best coin, though....

'31-S Buff. I've found numerous mini-hoards of dimes in boxes and whatnot. I've never found a full roll of silver, and I've probably never found anything worth a substantial amount over melt. So mostly, hoards. Two stand out, the second box I ever opened and a bag I bought at the same bank where I got the bag with 8 war nickels.

Not bad for my second box ever...

And the bag was fantastic. Asked if they had anything in the vault, they did. 4 solid rolls of 40% silver. Just Tuesday, I went to a local bank that has usually held some solid rolls (11 1964's in one roll was awesome) and picked up 2 rolls of 40% silver. All for face value. Best single find? 1916 walker in FR-AG.

It's on the side there. Just enough of the date left to see the bar of the 1 and then the full 6.

As for dollars, I've never found a Peace or Morgan, or Trade, Seated, anything like that. I have found three 1971 Type 2 Ikes, though. One that would grade AU that I sold, another that is AU, but damaged due to a scratch, and one I'd grade at MS63.[/QUOTE]
