Curious about 1955 D penny with misprint in LIBERTY

    damage, copper is very soft and can be moved around by various means.

    Is this an old thread or something? Damage. Take it to a bar and pull the thing out. Pass it around and then sell it to the first drunk who offers to buy it. It really works. Trust me.

    Haha I hadnt even noticed that this thread was started over a year ago :hilarious: , drunks will buy anything though I dont recommend selling something that is OBVIOUSLY PMD lol

    All the coins so far on this thread are PMD. If you think about how many cents are in circulation = tens/hundreds of billions, each one following a different path after the mint, there are millions of deep hits, scuffs, scratches, etc... Some of them are bound to push the copper in a way to look as if it is a different letter, or number. All of these coins are spenders, don't waste your time.

    IMO, your coin is damaged. The "9" is in the hub. They all look the same on a normal coin.
