    Definitely a shame about the "ghost", but hey, those more corporeal ones on the list are great! :) I love the Gallienus leftie, the Bosporan AV, and the first Gordie III best.

    You might be wondering why I gave up such a nice Gordie denarius. Probably I'm the crazy one, but when I saw this slightly lower grade example – especially the portrait and toning – it (barely) knocked the other off its pedestal for me:
