Interesting monetary fact about Cuba, from independence in 1902 until 1934 they didn't have their own paper money. They used US dollars. I sometimes wonder what must be hidden in safes, drawers etc from that era since it obviously was no longer legal for Cuban citizens to hold.

 

The embargo. They don't want to legally deal with figuring out what is and isn't legal so they ban everything.

eBay and PayPal will both ban your accounts if they catch you skirting the ban using different words
