I am so happy with this purchase! The tets are Salonina, Severina, and Tacitus.

I am getting tired of this TIF! It's settled I am saving up for a Ptolemy. That is a real winner of a group to get.

Whizbro, there are tons of Ptolemies out there and I bet you can find one you like without breaking the bank. Go for it!

That's a tremendous set of coins, TIF. Congratulations again! If those were mine, I'd never need to leave the house.

Huh ... ummm, your slightly erratic gate is a bit disturbing ... but you do seem very happy with your new purchases!! (are those great new coins in your handbag?!!)

Oh TIF if only that were true. Judging by the prices I usually see I could buy 3 bi-weekly if it wasn't for student loans :( but hey that is what I get for working to pay them off in 5 years (just over 1/5th done!).

It is coming but I get distracted easily by other neat coins!

I really do like the large Ptolemy bronzes. Here's one I picked up in July. Great patina!

    Very nice!! (great eye-appeal)

I also own a couple of those big babies (both 40+mm x 70+ grams) ... they are awesome in-hand, eh?

    :)

I thought I wanted one decades ago when you could get a nice liberal as for $1000 but I could not talk myself into spending that much of a single coin. At that time I had never spent over $100 on one coin and never spent a $1000 on coins in a whole year. Now that same coin is a lot more (maybe 4-5 times more) and I know that I will never have one but the though lingers that I should have bought what I wanted when I was working and could cut back on things like food. I doubt they will go down in the next few decades.

I had no idea they were so expensive. Hmm. I can't see spending that much money on one.

I think about this quite a bit...

Decades from now, I want to avoid making the same statement...and the numerical value times 3...

Sadly/unfortunately => "decades from now" I'm probably gonna be dead, or I'm gonna be wheelin' myself around in a chair, kinda like a retarded Stephen Hawking!!

=> A-Noob, Windchild and/or Jango => please make sure my coins are dealt with properly!! (thanks)

Jerry, when you die, they're going to put a plaque on your house. It'll say...

Is it wrong that I am printing this out?

Me, Justin and Jeff....I shall be the executer of the coins. I also have first pick as I was named first, in the succession of coins.

 I consider this a good day!
