Yes/ I had a Serb lawn client/ he worked in space program for Werhner von Braun. He fought for Tito partisans in War. His number one hero was Otto Skorzeny/ even though he was the enemy. He said Skorzeny was sent on special mission to capture Tito at Dvar/ however due to injury he was replaced on that operation failed. Skorzeny was always successfull without bloodshed. At end of conflict he witnessed the partisans forced 500 Bosnian (Handschar SS Division) POWS into an abandoned mine/ they blew it up so all POWS suffocated/ Communist justice. He was disgusted by that and other massacres Tito was responsible for:(

The communist monsters did things like that even to civilians who had zero military and political involvement (many people were murdered just because the communists assumed that those people would oppose them), including women and children:(, the communist monster Tito is to Croatia what the communist monster Pol Pot is to Cambodia.

Thank you for the consideration:), but I am not a fan of the Ustaše movement, and even ignoring that, the NDH gold coins are just too expensive for my liking, it wouldn't surprise me if this gold coin ended up going for 5000 EUR, which with the "buyer's premium" would be 6000 EUR, and that is the kind of money you can get a Gold Aureus of Marcus Aurelius or a Gold Stater of Alexander the Great for, so feel free to bid on it, I most definitely won't.

Were the Utascha Croatian Nationalists fighting for Croat Independence from Serb controlled Yugoslavia? History is always written by the victors. Somehow Russians are brainwashed to beleive Putin's propaganda that Ukraine massarced those people at the concert hall. Quite a disgusted man/ Zelenskyy called him a "scumbag"

That was their original goal, yes, but their NDH just ended up being a puppet state of national socialist Germany and fascist Italy instead, and they also ceded our territory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaties_of_Rome_(1941)), but even ignoring that and ignoring their other crimes, I am a supporter of small/limited government, and the NDH was the complete opposite of that, the state decided everything in regards to the economy, so like with other socialist (regardless whether of the national or international type) countries, I have no interest in their coinage.

I really regret that the medieval Kingdom of Croatia didn't mint gold coins:(, actually it did, but those were replicas of the Empire of the Romans gold coins, and I have never seen any of those replicas for sale (or at least I have never seen them identified as such).

This auction is a place where I am hoping I will manage to win some old Croatian coins: https://barper.com/en/

At previous auctions they had old Croatian coins for sale, and even coins that were minted in what is now Croatia before us Croats settled it in the early 7th century!

The Croatian auction house I posted the link to above is the one that sold the Great Bosnian Gold Ducat of the Bosnian king Stjepan Tvrtko I for 72000 DM in 1996, the coin is still in Croatia. :)

Today at the Gorny & Mosch auction I won a Bosnian Silver Dinar of Stjepan Tomašević Kotromanić (minted sometime between 1461 and 1463), the last King of Bosnia:

The House of Kotromanić which ruled the Kingdom of Bosnia was a Croatian noble house, which is why I am posting this coin in this thread.
