    I learned something new. The strict definition of "time capsule" for historians is that there has to be an opening date specified when they install it. If not, it's called a "cornerstone box."

    Back then they were well aware of the ancient Romans, Greeks and the Egyptians and the ruins they left behind. They knew that in the future there was a likelihood that the statue would be possibly taken down and replaced. And they were right.
