    I will repeat
So if someone ends up with 9 coins instead of 10 and the peace dollar is not there, what is???????? Maybe I will let you all wait to tomorrow to get more confirmations, etc. (unless a different person pops in here)

I think I know why you are not including the Peace Dollar, but I am stumped on what takes its place. Will have to think on this tonight.

Clue for those who are really wanting to participate and guess this: there is (was) a huge and significant event somewhere between those Morgans/Trade Dollar years and the Peace Dollar/Modern Dollar years that is a limiting factor in this 'collection'. Basically my collection begins with an event and ends with an event, and so cannot include anything outside those two events. Within the two events there are 10 coins that can be found to be fully representative of one thing in their entirety in this period between the two events. This is one of the reasons everyone who guesses two or three Morgans (etc) is getting dinged for it. Think Numismatic collection and then break out those redbooks to figure what fits.

@Coinlover67 I hope I haven't steered you wrong. Definitely number 7 and 8 can fit within the collection for a certain reason, though I would not want to have both in it. Perhaps you can figure out why I am saying this for these two "particular" (i.e., you have identified both specifically rather than in a generality, and as such have actually skipped one I would like as a result. So I would like you to re-think your alternative for a 1866 Proof No Motto Liberty Seated Dollar (your number 7) and give me one that fits more in my collection. Technically this does the job, yet bypasses one I want more (ps, don't think by this that I am opposed to a Proof Coin in the collection. Also no on the Flying Eagle Cent.... I know you are trying to find the 10th coin, which does not seem easily found (and it won't, because you have to think outside the box on that one). You almost have the full collection in these named coins. (90% if you follow me). Perhaps you need to find the thread that runs through all of these. If so, you will stop naming things like the same you have (doubling up) and coins that are dissimilar (like that flying eagle cent). What could that last darn coin be? What is the event that makes that last darn coin fit in the collection?

So @Kasia is the last coin a dollar pattern? Have been thinking and cannot crack this nut.

i would not call it a pattern. There is another term for what category it falls under.

Brandon, you have 80% still...no Barber Half in there, and aren't you trying to give me two Heraldic Eagle Draped Bust Dollars in there with your guessing of #'s 3 and 4?

And it is in the redbook? @Kasia

Kasia Got my learning hat on

It's in my redbooks. I used the Professional Edition 3rd Edition to pick my coins but I also just checked my 2009 regular redbook, and I do find it in there, too. So it could be found. Just might have to be creative to locate it.
