The simple fact is that there is no point in complaining, or calling this guy a clown just because a very minor deal didn't work out. If you want to use craigslist, the best advice I can give it to grow thicker skin. There will likely be a lot of people who are willing to waste your time and/or lie all in the hopes of getting a “better deal”… it just comes with the territory.
