No, I said you couldn't grade. I made that comment based on your foolish belief that a piece of plastic is what determines the value of a coin. No, I said there was something wrong with ANACS. IMO, there are only two reputable grading companies: NGC & PCGS. ANACS has long since fallen into the ranks of the second tier grading companies like ICG and SEGS. I guess that means you think that the graders at ICG are good because a few years back, most of the ICG graders left and became the ANACS graders. The fact that you will only buy certified pre 1978 coins is evidence of your lack of confidence of your own grading abilities. And if you only buy certified coins and don't crack them out, how are most of your coins in raw in albums and 2x2's? The purpose of buying the coins is because I liked them an wanted them for my collection. Are you submitting that I should not buy a coin I want for my album just because it is encased in plastic by a suspect grading company? Furthermore, it is not a waste of my money. The person who wasted the money was the person who submitted a $5-$10 coin for grading. What are you talking about? My comment was intended to let you know that I am a huge proponent of coin grading and my support of the TPG's is well known on this forum. I had nothing to do with egotism. If you feel comfortable with second rate grading companies that is your prerogative. Do you really think that the value of a $10 coin is dependent upon a TPG grade?] PS. Can you please learn how to use the quote function. It is very difficult to read and respond to your posts.
