Bad service? All I knows is I's wins an auction and TT gets it to me in three or four days. Heritage? A week and a half or longer......

I think it's more a case of unreasonable expectations by people who are just not familiar with them. I dealt with both companies for many years and never once did I have a bad experieince with either. Rarely have I ever even heard of anyone else who had what they thought was a bad experience. But never, ever, have I heard of a case where HA or TT didn't make it right if something did go wrong.

    For me.

HA=coins shipped, invoice comes with coin. Told me was against policy for a request I had - yet they still managed to accommodate. the only problem I have with HA is for the lowly lincolns I buy while they are cheaper grade label to grade label. the coins are also of the lesser quality. I guess I got what I paid for... If I were to guess, dealers dump their left over lincoln junk in bulk to get gone.

TT= don't bother unless it is a coin you just have to have. Then expect to pay more than you should - have arrive with consistent deep scratches in the center of the coin front and back of the slabs. Anyone else notice that?

My 3 Purchases all left something to be desired whether it is random out of the blue BP's. to excessive BP's on a large number of small valued coins to not performing typical business practices ending with ambiguous and purposeful omissions regarding those practices

My suggestion to you is simply contact Heritage and explain the nature of your concern. I would think they would accommodate you in some way in getting the coin re-holdered . Time is of the essence , so don't let grass grow while your pondering what to do. Tom.

HA already did resolve it and I would have been suprised if they hadn't. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Sometimes shipping is a little slower than some but it has never been excessive.

That's good to hear and thanks for updating us here at CT. To often we only hear the bad experiences members have with TPG's and Auction firms . Have a great weekend.
