i just got back from little coin shop trip to reno and pulled these from the dealers "junk" .999 bin that he was selling for $38.20, we all know and love the engelhard prospector but this other prospector from GSM could be a sleeper. i just got home and looked on ebay and see the hecla and some different crabtree stuff listed for $69 buy it now. it doesnt mean they'll get that but its nice to see a little premi on these, made my day. im going up to the city tomorrow to see the giants game and plan to check out some shops in SF, i'll be looking for some more rounds that catch my eye.
Nice! I also collect rare silver rounds. I've seen the prospectors before yes, but I've never seen those Hecla's or the Crabtree Mint rounds. I really like those divisible Crabtrees.
