I found this today metal detecting. Do you think it is it a counterstamped copper or coin weight? I have seen similar counterstamps and coins weights so I'm not sure. It is very thin and looks to be to same size as a 1700's British Halfpenny though I have not had the chance to compare it to any of the ones I found. Also, the back is completely blank.

I would weigh it. see if its 2 DWT, 2 Gram, 2 Ounces, 2 Grains, etc and if its any of those then we found an answer:D

Size of a ha'penny but very thin? Sounds like 2 grams to me.
