This is an area I Know very little about. I&#039;m just getting started reading the book The Counterfeit Coin Story, by Ken Peters, and perhaps he covers this. But I&#039;m not impressed with the first two chapters. Lots of factual mistakes about Greek coinage, which raises credibility concerns with the rest of the book. But Peters says in his intro that he has written this from a British point of view, so perhaps he&#039;s on more solid footing with British coins and counterfeits of them.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
