Counterfeit Detection #1

    OK, I can certainly see differences in the definition of the leaves and the wheat husks at the top. The counterfeit almost seems to have a triangle around the wheat husks as opposed to any real sharpness to the details.

    The triangle is commonly seen on these coins. That's why we need an image of a genuine 1887 to make the comparison.

    Here's an image that I borrowed from Heritage of an 1887. To me the one thing that really stands out is the leaves. I bow looks pretty good in the counterfeit at least to me.
