I go to the local junior college on Sundays where they have like a swap meet but it's really a bunch of stuff set up by 98% Hispanics selling all sorts of goodies.  Several of them have "silver" coins for sale.  Last trip I picked up 3 silver Mexico coins and brought them home figuring if by chance they were real I could make a huge score next time I went back.  Not surprising, they are counterfeit as well being way too light in weight but of course have the silver ding in them.  Another seller had some Morgan and Peace dollars that when looking at them were obvious counterfeits.  They wanted $3 each for them and I didn't want to spend that kind of money for them but I plan to be back there mid-August so if they are there I might pick up one of each just to post the pics. My LCS told me they put just enough silver in them to give them the ring of a real coin but I have no idea how much that is.[/QUOTE]
