I would have a hard time and go through withdraws if it didnt exist. I have alot of issues with ebay and how things are done but all in all there is still bargains to be had once you learn how to navigate the sharks.

Sleep? With a 15 month old at home, I don't know what this "sleep" thing is you are speaking of....

I am setting up snipes for Ebay tomorrow right now. Like Mat said, there is more and more crap and overpriced coins there now, but still potentially deals to be had. :) Heck, I just bought 16 arab-byzantine coins the other say there for less than $5 a coin.

I'd be another if I was not forced to have one. Doesn't mean it is always on or that I carry it though. It spends lots of time residing in my desk drawer. The only time I really answer it is when I see that the caller is some cute bank teller calling to tell me about the treasures that arrived for me at the bank.

Up until about three years ago I was the same. I finally got one though, they have their good points.
The thing is, with cell phones or ebay, the key is not letting them control you. You control them.
I will also add, if it weren't for ebay, perhaps a lot of newer collectors wouldn't be buying a lot of the crappy coins they buy.
