Could this be a coin error from the mint ?

    I have a 1946, two 1945's and a 1944 cent and was wondering if this could have been intentionally damaged or if it came from the mint this way please i welcome any information thanks all

    Snips, sharp blades, tools.. Only the people who did it would know exactly how it was done.

    Welcome to CT @Cody Horton. Not knowing what your experience with coin collecting is, we call this PMD, or Post Mint Damage, meaning it happened after it left the mint, so no mint error. At least they are still worth 1¢. LOL
