Could this 2018 Shield Penny be an error or why is it thick.

    Hi everyone at work if there are coins in the little coin thing I switch out with another coin in return and I found this 2018 Shield Penny is it an error or possibly struck on wrong planchet and ehy is it thick. Thank you to who might know.
