Could someone help me grade my coin?

    but here, on 3-10-14 in the links to the other forum provided by wcoins, you say: "I've weighed it already and asked my local coin dealer who says it looks legitimate. I'm confident it's real. "

    so why does the story change? And you bought it a few years before you were born. At a coin show. For $400. The discrepancies in the story make me wonder what's up here.

    maybe a counterfeiter testing our mettle, as well as learning how to improve?

    Or trolling for a buyer on a bad coin he purchased? He obviously didn't do the math on his story very well either. I always wonder about posts which ask about grade or value. Is the OP really hoping someone pm's him with an offer on it? Not so much with regular members, but I'm sure it happens with the one's no one hears from again.
