I saw your post and thought, hmm I must have some somewhere. Funny, I had it stashed in one of my coin books from a few years ago where you popped the coin in the little slot. Pretty happy with this find. Any idea on rarity/value?
They are considered a minor variety. Listed and recognized as FS-901 by the TPG's. TPG Prices for a graded BN-40 (MHO - from the picture) is around $20-25. Ungraded, $10-15. Not worth sending it in, but differently a keeper or private sale.
I think its around PCGS 58RB or ANACS 62BN. I will see at home, may be less. I haven't had much time to tak e a good look at it.
Wouldn’t the green oxidation make the value go down quiet a bit? I’d pay 7 bucks for your example if that’s not the only thing wrong with it.
