Thai has a very distinctive lettering style - I don't know anything about Thai coins or language, but once you learn what the lettering looks like, you can easily identify that the coin is Thai.
Coins are almost never in a different language. They normally always use the language of the minting country. There have been some exceptions, though. Your examples, however are not exceptions.
American coins are known for having Latin legends. Which country speaks Latin? Just had to throw a wrench at you!
Lots of kids learn Latin in School. And then they practice speaking it at home. But yes, there is no Latin as an official language of any county.
