I was at a coin show and I had bought a 1909s vdb for 25$ uncirculated condition and it's a copy of the coin just can't afford the real deal wish I could but is it worth getting graded Maby someday it will be worth something
Grading a copy or replica (which no legitimate TPG will grade anyway) would be an absolute TOTAL waste of money.
If you bought it for $25, you have already paid too much. If it is even copper, it's worth $0.02. The dealer should be ashamed of himself for even selling copies.
1909-S V.D.B. US LINCOLN CENTS, WHEAT EAR REVERSE Copy Exact size and weight US $1.40 / Piece ( Wholesale Price) 100 Pieces (Min. Order) Product Type: Coin Type: Bronze Style: Antique Imitation >>>>>>>>As shown on the website, www.alibaba.com
No need to pile on, OP already feels bad to lose a week's coin budget. But it's also a mistake he's unlikely to make again. I'd like to see him notify the Show Manager of this incident.
