I'm sort of on a budget and decided at this point to start a Copper Round Collection for fun ! My first was my Medical Cannabis round for 2021 which ultimately was when it was made Legal in Connecticut . Now I'm thinking of buying this Alien Round . Maybe, just maybe they will come and save my family and I from this "Planet in Decay" ??
Enjoy and let me what you think . Not telepathically either , :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

They may come back for more cannabis.
I have wondered why most copper rounds do not use the troy ounce.

The designs are interesting, but try avoid buying any “rare” or expensive ones if it becomes a fad. Back in the 1970s, some collectors got hooked on silver bars. People started paying premiums for “limited editions” and “error bars” as the suppliers jumped in to feed the market.

Some of us who had been in the hobby warned them that the bubble might burst, but some bar collectors to us it wouldn’t. It did, of course, and now the bars are worth scrap value.

You need to have a lot of copper to make a lot of money with that, so that avenue probably won’t be open to you if the fad fades, if there is a fad, of course.

Because troy oz are used for precious metals and copper isn't a precious metal....yet. :)

Buy what you like. I have around 200 or so as they are under $2.00 or I do t buy them. A great way to collect. There are numerous topics to choose from.

I have about 30 I've collected over the years. Whenever I see a design I like if the price is right I pick it up. I keep them in a desk drawer with a lot of paper so they've developed interesting toning stored there.

Only precious metals are measured using Troy ounces/pounds.
