Just like this one up. This reminds me of a matted coin the photos below the one on the left is not matted the one on the right is matted. Now doesn't the one on the right kinda look like the new members quarter.?
The coin in post 43, the right image, looks like the coin had something heavy on it, as it slid across a rough surface on the Reverse . At least to me .......
A circulated example would no longer retain luster regardless of whether or not a layer is missing. The biggest piece to this puzzle is weight, regardless of arbitrary and subjective contrast and color concerns. Here is a thread on my dime missing one clad layer, complete with scepticism as seen here. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1972-dime-missing-obv-clad-layer.209168/ Within that thread I link to two articles worth reading on this subject.
Honestly, is English not your first language? Not only did I quote the post where you spoke of these supposed "FAKE DIMES", but dug up the mentioned thread so there would (hopefully) be no confusion on your part, yet you come back claiming you said no such thing and talking of a completely different coin? The TITLE of the mentioned thread is "Fake Dimes", and in this thread you repeatedly referred to it/them as, ta-da, "fake dimes" yet "no one said it was fake"? YOU said it was fake!! Same as with the "whized" thread, you post poor information and make ridiculous claims, but it's someone else who "doesn't get it". It's time to take a look in the mirror, and maybe, just maybe, have a little respect for those you claim to care so much about.
Brooks you can blow things up to the size of the page I really don't care.. (You still don't get it) it boils down Brooks do a little research on the word association. The other member mention electroplating in school I had a coin that someone electroplated. Excuse me I had several coins that someone electroplated. My reply was in response to electroplating has nothing to do with the coin being displayed itself. If you took it that way that your problem. If I recall the other member mentioned electroplating. As something being possible still that's not Calling the coin a fake he's just expressing his opinion. And I was expressing my opinion on electroplating by the dimes that I have found in circulation. I do not recall anyone mentioning that that gentlemen's coin or the ops coin Being a fake. That delusional thought came up in your mind. (Books you still don't get it)
Hey Rick, this one I was about ready to send in. Thanks you just save me Wexler's fee. This is my 007. Take notice to the little window to the left.
There should be some strong doubling by the burst, next to the flag pole . I put an arrows to which burst shows the strongest doubling .
You're a lost cause, dear sir, but as long as you post questionable drivel, hopefully someone will counter it. I even posted a screen shot showing where you called the dime a "fake", from your ridiculously-titled "fake dime" thread, yet you're still claiming to have never said such a thing? My god.... you injected that coin and subject into this thread, not me. This is a very simply concept, sir; when you label something as being "fake", most will assume you're calling it a counterfeit as opposed to plated. Are you oblivious to the paranoia already on display here regarding supposed fakes? Do you really want to contribute to this, or would you prefer the reader understand your point without having to play guessing games? This has nothing to do with me researching "word association"; just clearly and simply state whatever point you're attempting to make... easy peasy and for the benefit of all.
Yeah I miss that one on yours. I still haven't learn how to blow up the photos yet. Sometimes I'll do something and it will work. I haven't really taken a look at John's listing. If his 07 listing does not have the doubling in the starburst then you can send yours in for a stage B.
Staging start when the die starts minting coins and wexler is a later die state then the one I have . Don't think either of them are stage A, or Early Die State.
Here's a full shot of wexler ( mine ) image of the burst . I put a couple of arrows next to the doubling on the burst, next to the flag pole, for a starting point .
Unfortunately mine only has the three windows. I'm just going to file it as a beginning 07 LOL. Rick this is only my opinion but I find if you use orange color for your arrows it generally shows up well on all photos. Black tends to disappear like on your pic of your star Burst. Just a suggestion.
