How many out there are saving/hoarding copper cents and how many do you have put away? Without trying too hard I now have about 18,000 taken from rolls.
For them to be worth anything at all, the melting ban would have to be lifted. Even then, it would require a massive quantity to justify one's time/effort. If you value your time at zero, then it's probably not a bad bet to save them.
I have about twenty dollars face value, about 40 dollars metal value. I am finding about 25% of the rolls i search to be copper, the rest are zincolns, I am finding more canadian cents than I am finding wheaties.
