Sorry to hear that. Why not buy her an ancient coin. You can get some beauties under $200. Heck, Greek bronzes with horses on them are under $100. Even a Widow's Mite as talked about in the Bible is under $30 for a nice one in a folder that tells the story of the coin.
NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Surprise her. If you are a Christian, there are Byzantine coins with Christ on them that are inexpensive, even gold ones!
18 minutes until everyone's names go into the Bingo spin cage and we get our winner. Good luck everyone.
As promised, Midnight, September 3, 2016 and the moment of truth has arrived. The winner is: STEVEARINO I wish I had more coins to give away judging by the response here. I'll have to do another one of these again in the next few months. Never knew so many were interested in an ancients contest. * @Stevearino I'm traveling to Tampa early this morning, so the coin won't be mailed before the weekend. Send me a PM with mailing address to send the coin to.
I never made it to the Secret Santa last year, so I have been saving up a lot of coins. They will be dispersed at local coin shows, club meetings, etc. and here on CT (not sure how I will do that just yet). A mix of everything:
