Cool looking 1958 Penny

    I ran across this cool looking penny in my pocket change about 6 months ago. I'm always saving the wheat pennies regardless of condition. I spotted this one in my change so I put it aside. The interesting thing about this one, to me, is it's in pretty good condition for being found in general circulation. I also see it has a rainbow (colors) effect to it. In the pix the colors are more evident on the reverse side. But it's visible equally on both sides. Cool and interesting. 1.jpeg 2.jpeg 3.jpeg

    I'm pretty sure that if it had been circulating for nearly 60 years, it would not look like this. Someone recently probably dumped it out of a collection they inherited or something like that.

    That's probably how it happened. Or someone was going through Grandma or Grandpa's kitchen drawers, collected up a bunch of loose change and spent it.
