Cool Frosty Morgan Guess the Grade

    Actually I think the timing of this post is perfect. Compare this coin to the one posted by Chop and I think you'll see the difference I tried to explain in that other thread.

    I would grade this one as AU55.

    ok, I think I see it. chop's coin has scattered breaks in the frost but this coin shows consistant wear that is much more uniform than the breaks in the frost of Chop's coin. It is a subtle difference, but I think I see it.

    Wow, thanks GD!

    I actually had to open both pics and put them side by side, but I can see what you are saying. The frost breaks on Chop's coin coincide almost exactly with bag marks while the one on my coin is more uniform (like what Cave_troll said) which is brought about from wear and circulation.

    That is very subtle and very cool for me personally as I have learned quite a bit from this thread!
