The Rarity Scale has nothing to do with the VAM's that NGC attributes.......1878 8TF, 7TF, 7/8TF (I think), Top 100, Hot 50 & Hit List 40 to the best of my memory. Chris
I know, that's what I just said. That's why they attribute the 1884 CC VAM 2, which happens to be R3, which has nothing to do with what they attribute.
Read my text! You are dead wrong and you have done this before to me. When you realize you are wrong you don't have to apologize. https://www.ngccoin.com/coin-varieties/morgan-dollar-die-varieties/1884-18-18-cc-s1-vam-2-5097/
No, I do have to apologize. I checked the VAM site, and it isn't listed as one that NGC will attribute. I should have checked the NGC Census because it is listed there. You're right! Chris
NGC probably won't attribute this one, but it doesn't matter, since the VAM community doesn't take their attributions seriously. ANACS will grade and attribute it using a strap on the GSA holder similar to NGC's. I'll also attribute it with a sticker on the back of the holder.
