If any of you found a cool error coin roll hunting post it here. On March 31th I will pick a winner. Winner gets bragging rights and can have a photo of any one of their coins by hand-cropping and other kinds of effect, it takes me around hour per each side of the coin. Here is an example of the kind of edit I can do. One coin can be submitted but you can share how ever many you would like, just say which coin you are entering. Here is an error coin that I have found, I am just showing it off.
I found a nice DDR in a proof roll. I have many images, but I'll post the last one to see anyone is interested.
Looks like a die chip in that area. It is not rough, so it may have struck a few coins after the chip came off the die.
Looks like a piece of plating that was pulled of another coin's reverse? I can see it is mirrored from the ONE CENT that is backwards. Never seen this before.
Can you see if there is glue on the edges of the copper plating? I just wondered what they used to get it to peel off?
That's funny coop' that u would say it maybe glue because that's what chris & gomez were thinking. So i took it to the local coin dealer and he said that's wild and he's never seen in 25 years of selling coin's.He told me to send it to pcgs and get slabbed. I never did because i found out a long time ago those places are a racket. UNLESS YOUR A COIN DEALER. HAVE A GOOD DAY OR NIGHT COOP.
I know I am late, but here is mine. I found it in a fed roll and had it for a couple years until Ken Potter told me to get it graded.
