Bill probably lost money on those coins, judging by the original tags. He made me a gracious offer. Arles was my last coin in this series. It could use some upgrading, but the price was right: $8 from Portugal. Note that my photograph collage software just repeated the first three coins to fill out the collage at the bottom. There are only 13 individual coins here representing the 13 mints, from left to right, top to bottom: Alexandria, Arles, Antioch, Nicomedia, Constantinople, Cyzicus, Heraclea, Siscia, Thessalonica, Aquileia, Lyons, Rome, Trier. I still say the “soldier and barbarian” on this reverse are to be conflated with Aeneas and Ascanius and the Flight from Troy, though I know that’s a tough sell. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Good luck @randygeki with the set!
