And then there are also those that come off, but leave a lighter colored spot where the dark colored spot was. Net effect - it's just as bad as it was before.</p><p><br /></p><p>So given all of this - what's a guy to do ? Well, my suggestion has pretty much always been the same. If you have a coin with spots on it and you don't like the spots - then sell the coin and buy another one that does not have the spots.
