Oh, wow, thank you! I am honored and flattered. Congrats capturing your first Carthage Empire! Would enjoy seeing it when you post it. My inspiration was my Roman History prof in University, oodles of years ago. I really got hooked on the Roman Republic, and their struggles with Samniun, the Punic Wars, and the Social War.

It is obvious that all those likes demonstrate that Alegandron makes posts that do not waste our time but contribute regularly to what it is that makes Coin Talk worth the time we spend here. Averaging half a dozen likes for every post really does show how folks consider him the major contributor of posts worth reading and makes us glad he is here. OK, get to work on 200,000.

Congrats, Brian! It's been incredible watching you grow your collection pretty much from scratch over the years here. You've built an incredible and inspiring collection, not and at the same time shared much humour, knowledge and positivity. Thank you, keep coining, and remember me if you ever tire of those Marsic denarii! :D

No problem, it would be an honor, Sir. Send me 200K USD and it's all yours....

....I'll just keep for myself the Dombes coins.
Oh, and the roman republican maybe.
And the Divi series, syrophoenician and alexandrian tets.
Ahem, I guess the french royals have to stay this side of the pond too.

    Fair enough ?
    Cuke ;)

PS : Your collection itself is so wonderful I could say the same !!!

My earlier reply was far too short and did not do justice to the magnitude of your contributions to coin talk, Brian. The advice and guidance you so often provide newcomers to our hobby, accompanied by your delightful puckish humor and commentary, always make you posts enjoyable. No wonder you have garnered 100,000 likes! Thank you.
